10th December: We see in the Magi three aspects of generosity: giving time, giving gifts and giving worship. These Wise Men modelled something important that first Advent, showing us that generosity is a lifestyle that really does change us and change the world.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Psalm 51:12 Generosity is a game changer. The generosity of Jesus coming to earth was a game changer. This is the season of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on ALL., another game changer. Through a generosity of a magnitude almost unbelievable the Holy Spirit is here to change the ‘game’ in York, as much as anywhere else. Through this generosity of the Holy Spirit let us expect change to happen in our midst, and let it begin with me.
