11th December: Signs point to something. They’re not an end in themselves, as they always point beyond themselves. God sends signs. To point us to Jesus. He did this for people at the first Advent, and he still does it today. What signs do you see? And what kind of sign are you?

He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge. Psalm 91:4 A great sign for me which I see as I walk around fairly often is a simple birds feather, especially one which has down towards its base. It reminds me of the intimacy God has for me. He does cover me with His feathers and under His wings I do take refuge. Rarely have I found a metaphor which so well describes the depth of the intimacy of His caring love for each of us.
